Warren police seize $200,000 worth of cocaine and crack cocaine

Police seized an estimated $200,000 worth of cocaine and crack cocaine after a serving a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of Summit Street NW Tuesday.

The homeowner, Oronde Allen, 39, was arrested for the charge of trafficking in cocaine and placed in the Trumbull County jail.

A news release form police Chief Eric Merkel said the department’s Street Crimes Unit and a tactical entry team served the warrant and found four pounds of cocaine and crack cocaine.

Also found were three handguns, $20,000 cash, a bulletproof vest, digital scales and ammunition.

The warrant culminated a two month investigation by the SCU, the release said.
