Genealogy society to welcome speaker

The Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will welcome author and researcher Andi Cumbo-Floyd.

She will address the importance and use of primary resources in genealogical research and will touch on aspects of her book “The Slaves Have Names.”

The meeting is planned for 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at St. Charles Church Ministry Center, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman. It is free and open to the public.
