Campbell cops investigate thefts and burglary

CAMPBELL

A Campbell resident, 37, called police at about 6 p.m. Monday to report he had items stolen from his two vehicles the previous night. The man, who lives on 13th Street, stated he left his Dodge truck unlocked the night before, and he said his mobile Canon printer and wallet with a PNC bank card were missing in the morning. He said he also left his Chrysler van unlocked and said a phone charger had been taken from it. Officers said they would put his report on file.

Police also reported there was a burglary at a Princess Street home at 10:45 p.m. Monday. A concerned citizen observed someone smash a side door window out of the home and enter. Dispatch alerted officers who rushed to the residence and noticed the smashed window.

Police said they did not see anyone inside the building upon arrival, but they noticed a thin male in blue jeans and a jean jacket with a gray hood outside.

Police phoned the resident at his work that evening to alert him of the burglary and to call police if anything was missing.
