Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at the Kyle Pavilion in Hubbard Park for a picnic. The event is free for all members whose dues are currently paid. For information call 330-759-1932. Report illnesses to Connie DiPiero at 330-788-2340.

Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet Sept. 10 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch will be at 11:45. Linda Vuletich will preside. New retirees will be inducted by Paul Rossi, membership chairman. The community service project for the month is back-to-school supplies. All area retired educators are invited. For reservations call Susan Harris at 330-618-1198 by Sept. 3.
