Joseph and Rose Sculli celebrate 70th anniversary

YOUNGSTOWN

Joseph and Rose Sculli of Youngstown celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Aug. 12.

They were honored at Nicolinni’s Restaurant by family and friends, some traveling across the country. Their children hosted the party.

Mr. Sculli married the former Rose Pasquale on Aug. 12, 1944, at St. Anthony Church.

Their children are Frank (Denise) Sculli, Joseph (Paulette) Sculli and Patricia (John) Frano, all of Canfield; Anthony (Sue Romeo) Sculli of Lady Lakes, Fla.; and Roseann (Vince) Nardy of Solon. They also have 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sculli retired from the Youngstown City Schools, and her husband retired from the Youngstown Water Department.

The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
