Youngstown man faces child-endangering charge

BOARDMAN — Township police arrested a man on a child-endangering charge Thursday after officers observed an infant alone in the back seat of a vehicle in the parking lot of BuyBacks, 813 Boardman-Poland Road.

Phillip Bolender, 24, of Youngstown was arrested after police located him in the store and discovered he was intoxicated, according to a police report.

Police said the 6-month-old infant was OK.

Police also cited Bolender for disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Mahoning County Area Court here.
