Warren law director endorses Dave Pepper for Ohio AG

WARREN — Greg Hicks, Warren law director, has endorsed Democrat David Pepper to be Ohio attorney general, according to a press release from the Pepper campaign.

“With a statewide heroin crisis spinning out of control, we need an attorney general who understands and stands up for cities like Warren,” Hicks said. “David Pepper is a tough and experienced leader who will be a true partner in keeping our community safe.”

Hicks, a former police officer and retired Army Reserve lieutenant colonel, is in his sixth term as law director, which handles civil and criminal matters.

Pepper will face incumbent Attorney General Mike DeWine in November.
