Robbery on video

WARREN

Store surveillance video captured a male wearing a white half-mask over his face rob the clerk at the Rocky’s AM/PM Food Mart, 1744 W. Market St., at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the video shows the man — about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 to 300 pounds — walking from a bronze or silver four-door 2003 Cadillac DeVille toward the store wearing a black-hooded sweat shirt with a large skull and cross bones in the back.

Two customers were in the store at the time — a father and his small son, who were near the cash register. The boy’s father pulled him back from the counter as the robbery took place, police said.

This is the second case of a crossbow being stolen from Dick’s in four days, though video surveillance indicates that two different suspects were responsible.
