Performers Joe Nichols, Josh Thompson coming to Stambaugh Auditorium

YOUNGSTOWN — Country music artists Joe Nichols and Josh Thompson will come to Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave., on Nov. 2 for a 7 p.m. concert.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 29 at the auditorium box office, by phone at 330-259-0555 and online at stambaughauditorium.com.

Nichols’ latest song to top the charts, “Yeah,” off his album, “Crickets,” was his second consecutive No. 1 single after “Sunny and 75.”

His previous chart-toppers include “Gimme That Girl” (2010), “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” (2005), and “Brokenheartsville” (2003). His next single, “Hard To Be Cool,” will be released next month.

Thompson’s sophomore album, “Turn It Up,” includes his current hit “Wanted Me Gone,” as well as “Cold Beer with Your Name On It” and the title track, “Turn It Up.”
