A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD

Aug. 9

Warrant: Curtis Moses, 19, of Idora Avenue, Youngstown, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Aug. 10

Warrant: Dominique Johnson, 20, of Willis Street, Youngstown, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic violation.

Warrant: Kristopher Carroll, 34, of Lake O’Springs Avenue, Canton, was arrested on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Aug.11

Drugs: Alex Sanchez, 22, of Indian Run, Canfield, was arrested on three counts of possession of drugs, and three counts of possession of dangerous drugs after the Canfield police department received lab results from evidence seized in a June traffic stop.

Aug. 12

Bomb threat: A frustrated customer made a bomb threat at Huntington Bank, 525 E. Main St. An informal resolution was made and no charges were filed.

Aug. 13

Aggravated menacing: Diana Brennan, 23, of Rosewood Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of aggravated menacing.

Aug. 11

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 60 block of Country Green Drive.

Recovered property: An Ohio registration was recovered at a home in the 100 block of North Kimberly Avenue.

Theft: Fraudulent charges were made at a home in the 5000 block of Stanford Avenue.

Theft: Fraudulent charges were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Warwick Court.

Aug. 12

Passing bad checks: A suspect passed bad checks at Shawn’s Driving School, 14 S. Meridian Road.

Aggravated menacing: There is a suspect in a case of aggravated menacing at a home in the 3000 block of Huntmere Avenue.

Theft: A scooter was not returned at a home in the 400 block of Idlewood Road.

Burglary: An unattached garage and residence were entered in the 60 block of Lexington Place and pills, tools, a compound bow, television and xBox were stolen.

Domestic violence: Mark Scott, 24, of North Navarre Avenue, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence.

Aug. 13

Theft: A gas drive-off of $55 in fuel was reported at BP Fast Track, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Mail was stolen and recovered at an office building in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: Unauthorized removal of funds from an account was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Drug offense: Daniel Parker, 28, of Parkgate Avenue, Youngstown, was issued a summons charging him with possession of marijuana.

Recovered property: Two bicycles were recovered at North Main Street and Stambaugh Avenue.

Personal injury: A 6-year-old girl was bitten by a dog at a home in the 300 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: Cars were damaged and a wallet stolen at Steel Valley Contracting, 3730 Mahoning Ave.

Aug. 14

Drug offense: Daniel Papa, 28, of Sprucewood Court was issued a summons charging him with possession of syringes and a charred spoon.

Warrant: Amber Kennemer, 22, of Deer Creek Court, was arrested on a Struthers warrant charging her with failure to appear on unspecified charges.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Burglary: There is a suspect in a burglary at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court. The suspect was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for evaluation, and charges are pending.

Theft: Fentynyl patches were taken from a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: A fence was cut and fittings were taken at Hydrochem, 428 Thatcher Lane.

Burglary: An Emerson television was stolen at a home in the 600 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Lost or stolen property: A checkbook and an Ohio ID were lost or stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Aug. 15

Warrant: Justine DelCruz, 20, of Woodview Avenue Southwest, Warren, was arrested on a warrant charging her with aggravated trespassing and complicity to burglary.

Burglary: A blue tote was taken at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken out at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Burglary: A television was taken at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.

Aug. 16

Drug offense: LaPriece Whitted, 28, of Princeton Avenue, Youngstown, was arrested on charges of possession and drug-abuse of cocaine, hydrocodone, and drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs.

Theft: An earring was taken from a hotel room at Holiday Inn Express, 5555 Cerni Place.

Theft: Solar lights were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Signature Place.

Theft: An unidentified male and female stole an unknown amount of clothing at Walmart.

Breaking and entering: A grill and vodka were stolen from a home in the 60 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Warrant: Tommie Robinson, 40, of Idlewood Road was arrested on a warrant charging him with probation violation.

Burglary: A Television, iPod and Play Station 3 were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Warrant: Corey Bielik, 26, of Beverly Avenue, was arrested on a warrant charging him with theft by deception after putting $360 in unauthorized charges on a credit card.

Assault: A victim was assaulted by a suspect who was snorting cocaine off the table at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 U.S. Route 62.

Aug. 17

Criminal damaging: A driver’s window was broken out of a Ford Ranger at a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Burglary: Pills were taken from a home in the 1000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road from an elderly woman who was tricked by two males.
