Basket auction to aid dogs with heartworm

Friends of Fido at the Mahoning County Dog Pound are planning a basket auction Sept. 13 to benefit heartworm-positive dogs of Youngstown.

The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road
