Alleged break-in in Campbell due to 'sleepwalker'

CAMPBELL — A Blossom Avenue resident called, stating there was a man in his underwear trying to break into his car Wednesday.

The resident said he came out of his house and "the man in his underwear" fled toward the bottom of Blossom.

Campbell police apprehended the man in his underwear and took him to the police station to check his condition. Life Fleet at the police station determined the man had been sleep walking because of a sleeping pill he had taken.
