2nd crossbow stolen from Boardman sporting goods store

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a theft case in which a man stole a crossbow valued at $1,000 from Dick’s Sporting Goods, 550 Boardman-Poland Road.

According to a police report, a man entered the store about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday and left a few minutes later with a black Barnett “Ghost 410” crossbow.

This is the second case of a crossbow being stolen from Dick’s in four days, although video surveillance indicates that two different suspects were responsible.
