Hubbard police investigating theft from 96-year-old woman

HUBBARD — A man told police that someone posing as a driveway sealer stole $3,800 off his 96-year-old mother.

He said a company from Poland was to seal his driveway for $100. Someone showed up a day early over the weekend, however, and got his mother to write the check for the larger amount, police said.
