Austintown woman gets jail time for July altercation with ex-boyfriend

AUSTINTOWN — Angelica J. Sturkie will spend five days in Mahoning County jail for her role in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend last month.

Sturkie, 24, of Wickliffe Circle, took a plea deal this morning in Mahoning County Area Court here. She pleaded guilty to amended charges of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

After her guilty pleas, Judge David D’Apolito fined her $300 and court costs and gave her an eight-day jail sentence. He gave her credit for the three days she served in jail after her arrest and before she posted bond.

She will begin her five-day jail sentence at 9 a.m. Aug. 29.
