POLAND

Township police are investigating a series of break-ins into vehicles and garages that occurred between Friday and Sunday on several streets.

Nine victims on Dobbins Road reported having items stolen from their vehicles between Saturday and Sunday, police said.

Stolen items included wallets, driver’s licenses, debit and credit cards, cash, medical-insurance cards, various rewards cards, jewelry, checks, a Social Security card, driver’s permits, a gas can filled with diesel fuel, cigarettes and a ring valued at $500.

A separate police report detailed a string of burglaries that took place on James Street and Poland Center Drive between Friday and Saturday.

A generator and cash were stolen from a garage and several cars on those roads.

Four victims filed a report regarding a theft and breaking-and-entering on Lyon Boulevard and Beechwood and Edgewater drives last week. Vehicles and garages also were broken into in these incidents.

Police Chief Brian Goodin said there are no suspects at this time.
