“Dora and Friends: INTO THE CITY” (8 P.M., NICKELODEON): This spinoff of the popular children’s show follows Dora, now 10 years old, and a group of new pals as they embark on adventures in a pan-Latino metropolis by the sea.

“Dallas” (9 p.m., TNT): The last time we saw “Dallas,” Southfork was ablaze. The sizzling drama returns tonight and the Ewings, naturally, are demanding answers about the fire that put their family ranch in peril.

“America’s Next Top Model” (9 p.m., CW): Season 21 kicks off with a selfie contest.

“Captivated: THE TRIALS OF PAMELA SMART” (9 P.M., HBO): This documentary looks back at Smart, who was convicted in 1991 of colluding with a teen paramour to off her husband.

Unusual airplanes, car cruise at show

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 117, Rapid Tappets and PORKS radio-controlled model clubs are having a fly-in, car cruise-in, picnic and corn roast Aug. 23 at New Castle Municipal Airport, off U.S. Route 422 in Union Township.

Admission and parking are free. The event will include an airplane show, hot rod and custom car cruise, DJ, and radio-controlled model cars. Visitors should arrive about 10 a.m. as the runway will be active with arriving airplanes and show cars. A variety of flying machines will be featured, including biplanes, experimental, aerobatic, vintage, ultra light, war birds and more. Flightjunkies.com will exhibit a powered paraglider. There will also be helicopter rides for $30, and food vendors.

Animal rescue plans bike event

Close to Home Animal Rescue will host a Hogs and Dogs Night from noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Powerhouse Bar, 999 Mahoning Ave. NW. Adoptable animals will be on hand. The kitchen will be open for food, and vendors will offer Harley- Davidson gear and pet toys.
