Home Savings pays for parking meters around YSU campus through Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — Home Savings has paid for all the parking meters that surround the campus of Youngstown State University for the first week of classes today through Friday.

This is the third year Home Savings paid for parking meters to welcome YSU students back to school and to save them time in the first week when life may seem a bit more chaotic than usual.

“As a local bank, we are always looking for ways to give back in the communities that we serve,” said Colleen Scott, vice president of marketing. “We wanted to do something for the faculty and students of YSU to show them how important they are to us. We had such a great response from the university and the community when we did this the last two years, we wanted to continue the tradition.”
