For the first time in four years, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will bring its holiday production to the Covelli Centre this Christmas season.

According to TSO’s website, the group will perform two shows Jan. 2 at the downtown Youngstown arena at 3 and 8 p.m.

The production, “The Christmas Attic: A Rock Holiday Tradition for a New Generation,” will play in 71 cities.

The tour will open in Toledo at the Huntington Center on Nov. 13. It also has appearances scheduled in Pittsburgh and Toledo in December.

In addition to the rock opera, TSO publicists say the second half of the show will feature iconic TSO classics and fan favorites such as “Wizards In Winter,” “Requiem” and “Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo 12/24.”

According to TSO’s website, an exclusive presale for the winter tour performances will run Sept. 3 to 5.

Both Billboard Magazine and Pollstar have ranked the progressive rock orchestra as one of the top ten ticket-selling bands in the first decade of the 21st century.
