Chorale will host auditions for singers

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Valley Chorale is looking for new members for its 2014-15 season. Singers interested in performing a variety of choral music can schedule an audition Aug. 24 at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave.

Summerdance at Nelson Ledges

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, 12001 Nelson Ledge Road, will present Summerdance, an electro-instrumental dance festival, Aug. 29-Sept. 1. Philadelphia band Lotus will headline Saturday and Sunday nights, and BoomBox will headline Friday night.

The lineup also includes Broccoli Samurai, Break Science, Moon Hooch, Nunchuck, Crosby Sweater, Luke the Knife, Higher Learning, IndigoSun and more.
