Sandra Flowers | Lewis Bezjak III

Sandra Elaine Flowers of Darlington, and Lewis Joseph Bezjak III of Florence, S.C., were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony June 14 at First Baptist Church. Dr. William Curtis officiated, and a reception took place in the church’s fellowship hall.

The couple honeymooned at Marco Island, Fla., and reside in Florence.

The bride, daughter of Arthur and Linda Flowers of Darlington, graduated from Presbyterian College and Erskine Theological Seminary with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian education. She works for the Darlington County School District in Darlington.

The groom, son of Lou and Lucy Bezjak of Struthers, graduated from Evangel University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting. He is a sportswriter for Florence Morning News in Florence.

Renee Woodberry, cousin of the bride, was her maid of honor. Attendants wore wisteria-colored dresses, including bridesmaids Christine Bezjak, and Karen Fabian, sisters of the groom. Bryanna Fabian, niece of the groom, and Haylee Johnson, niece of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.

The groom’s nephew Mark Fabian Jr. served as his best man, and groomsmen were Neal Flowers, brother of the bride; and Bob Clark.

Program attendants were Brent Johnson and Kolton Flowers, nephews of the bride.
