YOUNGSTOWN

“The Tombstones of Oak Hill Cemetery Volume I,” Youngstown and Mahoning County, is available for sale.

It was compiled by Louis J. Joseph and Sarah Jay Joseph for the Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society.

The softbound volume is on acid-free paper with an every-name index at a price of $45 ($40.50 for members) plus $4 shipping and handling. Ohio residents must add sales tax appropriate for your county.

The book can be purchased at mahoningcountychapterogs.org — publications page.

Volume I contains the records of Lots 1 through 500 and the Youngstown Township Section. It contains the tombstone inscriptions and those buried in lots with no stones as per lot cards.

Only tombstone inscriptions are available for the Youngstown Township Section, because there are no known records. Every effort was made to provide death dates, military records and other helpful information.
