Mr., Mrs. Everett celebrate 60th at dinner party

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas R.K. Everett of Youngstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner party June 11 at TJ’s Restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

The couple have four children: Douglas (Barbara) Everett of Columbiana, Ruth Anne (Frank) Tarantine of Youngstown, David (Patty) Everett of Canfield and Kathy (John) Emrich of Boardman.

The family includes six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Everett, the former Joan Crytzer, and Mr. Everett were married June 12, 1954, at Pleasant Grove United Presbyterian Church, where they are members.

She is a homemaker and retired as a teacher’s aide for Pegmar Creative Preschool. He retired as president of Aberdeen Construction Corp. and belongs to Youngstown Kiwanis Club and Gideons International. Mr. Everett served in the Army Air Corps.
