Drivers beware: 2 OVI checkpoints tonight in Howland

HOWLAND

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with the Howland Township Police Department, have two OVI (operating a vehicle impaired) checkpoints tonight, at 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. on North Road and state Route 46 in Howland.

The checkpoints will be paired with nearby saturation patrols and are in place to prevent alcohol-related accidents.
