Women Inspiring Women luncheon to be Sept. 8

The Mahoning Valley Chapter of Empowering Women is presenting a special luncheon program on Sept. 8 from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Davis Family YMCA in Boardman. Women Inspiring Women will feature presentations by Gina Pastella, PHR at VEC Inc. a Director of Strategic Engagement and Full-Circle Leadership Coach, Melinda Givens of Compass Family & Community Services and Greg Smith, chairman of the board of CompcoIndustries.

Those wishing to attend can register online at youngstownYMCA.org and click on Empowering Women under news and events. There is a fee of $10 that includes a box lunch supplied by Gordy’s Specialty Market.

Attendees are requested to bring items to be donated to Compass Family & Community Services (women’s Fall clothing or a Ziploc bag filled with shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste).

The Davis Family YMCA is located at 45 McClurg Road in Boardman.
