YOUNGSTOWN
Police arrested a man who was hiding in a shower on a theft warrant Wednesday afternoon.
Officers went to a home in the first block of Elliot Lane to arrest Stephen Tate, 29, on a theft warrant. When they arrived, the homeowner said Tate was not there but police could search her house after she secured her dog.
Police searched the house except for the room the owner put the dog in and found no sign of Tate, but when they made her get the dog out of the bathroom, they found Tate behind a shower curtain, and he was taken into custody.
