Medina man arrested after Campbell traffic stop

CAMPBELL — Police arrested a 19-year-old man from Medina, Ohio, Thursday afternoon for drug possession and a concealed weapon.

Police noticed a white Toyota swerving in and out of marked lanes on a busy road at about 6:30 p.m. Police pulled over Preston Kuhn and noted he was acting anxious and offended at the stop.

Kuhn denied he had anything illegal in the vehicle such as open alcoholic beverages, narcotics or concealed weapons.

Due to Kuhn's behavior, police conducted a K-9 sniff of the vehicle where they found marijuana residue in a small compartment under the steering wheel. The officer proceeded to search Kuhn for anything illegal and found an orange box cutter in his pants pocket. Police arrested Kuhn; his white Toyota was towed from the scene.

Kuhn posted his $2,500 bond and was released. He will appear before the Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
