YACTA to have scholarship benefit picnic

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Area Community Theater Alliance will have a scholarship benefit picnic from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Boxcar Lounge at the B&O Station complex, 530 Mahoning Ave.

Admission is $5 with proceeds going toward the inaugural YACTA scholarship, which will be awarded in the spring for the 2015-16 school year.

The picnic is open to all actors, actresses, volunteers, stage crew and patrons of Youngstown community theater.

The family-friendly event will include free hot dogs and karaoke. Attendees may bring a covered dish to share.
