Howland man sentenced to 6 years for assault
WARREN — Christopher Dellick, 36, of Howland Township maintained his innocence, but his wife described him as controlling, violent and obsessive before a judge sentenced him to six years in prison.
Dellick was convicted at trial of felonious assault for cutting his wife's leg in their Champion Township home last year and trespassing into a habitation for entering a home in Bristolville that day to get his daughter.
Dellick maintains he arrived at their home and found his wife in the bathtub barely conscious with a knife wound.
Judge Andrew Logan of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court presided over the case.
