Not-guilty plea
WARREN
Dion L. Bell, 30, of Sweetbriar Street Southwest, is being held in the Trumbull County jail without bond after being charged with felony kidnapping and domestic violence. A not-guilty plea was entered for him in Warren Municipal Court.
A 26-year-old woman, also of the Sweetbriar address, said Bell assaulted her Sunday and held her and two children hostage.
The woman called 911 at 8:21 p.m. Police called into the house with no response, but Bell said, “I’m back here,” and came out to be taken into custody. Police found the woman and children age 5 and 7 in the same bedroom where Bell had been.
The woman said they argued over money, then Bell hit her in the face with a closed fist multiple times.
