Walker sentenced to 11 years for manslaughter

WARREN — Scott H. Walker, 33, was sentenced to 11 years in prison this morning in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter for punching his girlfriend's son in the stomach, killing him.

Nicholas Partin died the next day after the punch, which occurred at the Bazetta Township home where he lived with his mother, Jennifer Light, and Walker.

Light also faces a prison sentence of up to 10 years next week for her role in the death.
