Chorus accepting new members

YOUNGSTOWN

The Stambaugh Chorus, under the direction of Hae-Jong Lee, will accept new members for the 2014-15 season through September.

The season will begin a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the ballroom of Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Ave. Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Tuesday evenings in the ballroom. Email info@stambaughchorus.org.

The upcoming season includes “A Night at the Races” fundraiser Oct. 24; participation in the opera “Don Giovanni” on Nov. 14; holiday concert Dec. 3; Concert of Giving on Dec. 6; Mahler concert April 24; and “Musical and Oratorio” on May 17. All performances are at Stambaugh Auditorium.
