Lauren Jacobs of Girard and Matt Roscoe of Warren are engaged, their parents are announcing.

Her parents are Howard Jacobs of Niles and Gail Jacobs of Girard. His parents are Edward and Dianne Roscoe of Warren.

The couple are planning a 2 p.m. open ceremony Sept. 20 at St. Rose Church in Girard. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at the Embassy in Boardman.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Casal Aveda Institute and is a cosmetologist for Salon Rubertos in Girard.

Her fiancé attended New Castle School of Trades.
