Senior Olympics will donate to Alzheimer's

AUSTINTOWN

Brookdale Senior Olympics will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Clare Bridge Austintown, 1420 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Residents of Clare Bridge Austintown will compete against residents of Sterling House of Youngstown.

Events will include bowling, races, shooting gallery, spelling bee, ring toss and throwing contests.

Prizes and awards will be given for each competition, and a light lunch will be served.

The executive directors from each residence will sit at a dunk tank from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Balls to dunk them will be $1 each.

Funds raised will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
