Waldameer Park plans wave pool

ERIE, Pa.

Waldameer Park and Water World plans to open a wave pool by next spring.

A new concession stand and restrooms, and more ticket booths also are part of a $10 million expansion. The wave pool will have a capacity of about 1,000 swimmers.

The Millcreek Township Planning Commission will vote on the expansion plans later this month.
