Women Inspiring Women luncheon to be Sept. 8

The Mahoning Valley Chapter of Empowering Women is presenting a special luncheon program on Sept. 8 from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Davis Family YMCA in Boardman. Women Inspiring Women will feature presentations by Gina Pastella, PHR at VEC Inc. a Director of Strategic Engagement and Full-Circle Leadership Coach, Melinda Givens of Compass Family & Community Services and Greg Smith, chairman of the board of Compco Industries.

Those wishing to at- tend can register online at youngstownYMCA.org and click on Empowering Women under news and events. There is a fee of $10 that includes a box lunch supplied by Gordy’s Specialty Market.

Attendees are requested to bring items to be donated to Compass Family & Community Services (women’s Fall clothing or a Ziploc bag filled with shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste).

The Davis Family YMCA is located at 45 McClurg Road in Boardman.
