Road closure early Saturday in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio Department of Transportation reminds motorists that U.S. Route 422 westbound at Oak Street on the East Side will be closed between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday for bridge repairs.

Route 422 eastbound to U.S. Route 62 northbound is closed. The detour is Route 422 to Oak Street to Albert Street.

This work is part of a $1.7 million project to re-deck the Route 422 ramp over Route 62/state Route 7. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late September.
