Cedar Point seeks Halloween workers

SANDUSKY

Cedar Point is looking for hundreds of enthusiastic people of all ages to work at this fall’s HalloWeekends event.

The amusement park hires more than 300 people each fall who are transformed into witches, zombies and other monsters to scare guests in the park’s haunted houses and outdoor fright zones.

A variety of other jobs are available, including positions in park operations, food services, accommodations, games and merchandise sales.

Cedar Point provides bus transportation to and from Bowling Green State University, Oberlin College, Kent State and the University of Toledo for students who want to work at the park this fall. Free weekend housing is available to those who qualify.

Interview sessions will take place each Sunday in August from 2 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Point’s Castaway Bay indoor water park, located at 2001 Cleveland Road, Sandusky. Job-seekers must fill out an application online at cedarpoint.com/jobs before attending the interview session.

This year’s event will feature several new attractions, live shows and kid-friendly activities. HalloWeekends are on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 12 through Nov. 1.
