Ernie Hall opening set Saturday and Sunday

A fly-in/cruise-in to celebrate the opening of the Ernie Hall Aviation Museum will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the SLOAS Airfield, 4059 North River Road.
Hall, of Warren, was an aviation pioneer.
More than 150 planes are expected to fly in during the two-day event. Admission is $6 Saturday and $10 Sunday for those 13 and older. Children age 12 and under accompanied by an adult will be admitted free both days.
Saturday’s attractions include tractors, motorcycles and airplanes, the grand opening of the museum, live music beginning at 10:30 a.m., airplane rides for $40 per person, kids’ activities and food vendors.
Sunday’s attractions include classic cars and airplanes, the stars of the “Fat and Furious” television show signing autographs, the Batmobile and new Dodge Hellcat and live music starting at 10:30 a.m.
Fly-bys and landings will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Staggerwing PT-13, 9:30 a.m. in the Titan T-51 Mustang, 10 a.m. in the BT-19 WWI Trainer, noon in the RV formation and 1 p.m. in the C123 Provider (fly-by only).
Also Sunday, there will be a remote-control demonstration at 2 p.m., airplane rides for $40 per person, kids activities and food vendors.
