Kansas is coming to Stambaugh

Kansas, the classic rock band known for hits like “Carry on My Wayward Son” and “Dust In the Wind,” will come to Stambaugh Auditorium Oct. 17.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Stambaugh box office, online at stambaughauditorium.com and by calling 330-259-0555.

Kansas recently celebrated its 40th year as a band. After releasing its self-titled debut album in 1974, the band amassed eight gold albums, three sextuple-platinum albums and one platinum live album.

“Dust in the Wind” was a million-selling gold single that was on the Billboard charts for more than 200 weeks in the ’70s and ’80s. “Carry on Wayward Son,” released in December 1976, became the most played track on classic rock radio in 1997.
