Warren man sentenced to 12 years 11 months on federal gun, drug charges


CLEVELAND — A Warren man charged in a major drug distribution conspiracy was sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in federal prison this morning after his guilty plea to gun and drug charges.

Lewis C. Powell II, 34, drew the sentence from Judge Donald C. Nugent of U.S. District Court.

Powell had earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute heroin, crack cocaine, and cocaine between February 2012 and April 2013 and being an unlicensed firearms dealer during 2012.
