UPDATE | Warren homicide victim not yet identified

WARREN — Police are treating the death of a Deerfield Street Southwest man as a possible homicide, but they are not releasing the name of the victim because his body has not been positively identified.

Police were called to the home in the 1500 block at 2:30 a.m. today by a woman who said she was walking to the Deerfield address to visit her boyfriend, then heard three gunshots while she was a ways off, then found him unresponsive in the kitchen. If this is ruled a homicide, it would be the fourth one in the city in 2014.
