Sentenced to prison
WARREN
A 20-year-old Howland man sentenced to probation in May for a burglary at his neighbor’s house has been sentenced to three years in prison for a probation violation.
Jesse Ellsworth of Bayberry Drive Northeast received the sentence Monday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court as a result of getting kicked out of the Northeast Ohio Community Alternative Program. The program was a requirement of his probation.
Ellsworth pleaded guilty to burglary and receiving stolen property, but Atty. Ned Gold, the victim of the break-in, asked Judge Peter Kontos to give Ellsworth probation.
A 2005 Pontiac Bonne-ville, high-definition television and several pieces of jewelry were taken during the December break-in.
