Traffic moving again in Springfield Township after accident

NEW SPRINGFIELD — Traffic is moving on Western Reserve Road near the five points intersection after a crash earlier today that sent one man to the hospital.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to an accident at 10:33 a.m., in which a truck flipped over and crashed near the intersection. No other vehicles were involved.

A dispatcher for the highway patrol said that although the driver’s injuries at first appeared to be grave, his injuries are not life-threatening and he is doing better than responders initially though.

He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. The patrol report did not have the driver's name.
