Sewing Guild will sponsor 2-day event

CORTLAND

The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is sponsoring a two-day event at Wildare United Methodist Church Family Life Center, 7211 N. Park Ave.

Nationally known sewing educator Londa Rohlfing will give a power point presentation and a trunk show from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 19. Light refreshments will be served. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.

A hands-on seminar will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 20. The cost is $60 for members and $70 for nonmembers. To audit the class the cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. The cost includes lunch.
