Mauro Cantalamessa sworn in as Trumbull commissioner

WARREN — Mauro Cantalamessa was sworn in as Trumbull County commissioner this morning in front of the Trumbull County Courthouse.

Cantalamessa, 36, of Warren, manager and co-owner of Enzo's restaurant in Warren, said he brings business experience and an ability to listen to the job of commissioner. He was a high school English teacher 18 months at Austintowm Fitch.

He ran for commissioner against Commissioner Frank Fuda in 2006 and lost. Fuda said he thinks Cantalamessa's youth will be an asset, and he'll be around "a long time."
