Campbell police charge man with drug possession
CAMPBELL
A Youngstown man will appear in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday on a fourth-degree felony drug possession charge.
James T. Abanathey, 26, of Kenneth Street was arrested about 6 p.m. Friday after police found 6.8 grams of crack cocaine on him during a traffic stop. Police seized $742 in cash, as well.
Abanathey, who was pulled over for failing to stop at the intersection of Courtland Avenue and Gladstone Street, also was found to have a suspended driver's license. As he stepped out of his car, the small bag containing crack cocaine fell out of his shorts and to the ground in plain view of the officers.
