AVI helps to launch Bob Evans Express

AVI Foodsystems Inc. of Warren has helped Bob Evans Farms introduce Bob Evans Express. It’s a restaurant concept that offers the farm-fresh goodness of a traditional Bob Evans restaurant in a scaled-down form.
The express-style restaurant is designed to go into workplace cafes, airports, travel plazas and universities. AVI will launch the first express shop in the food court at the Youngstown-based Cafaro Co.’s Millcreek Mall in Erie, Pa.
Construction will start within 30 days, and the Bob Evans Express will open in October.
Chamber will host ‘System for Selling’

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will host a “System for Selling” seminar at The Magic Tree Pub & Eatery, 7463 South Ave., from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The program is a networking and learning experience with Thomas Scully, president of Sandler Training Center. Scully will teach members and guests how to continue to grow their business. The cost is free for chamber members and $10 for nonmembers.

New propane tank gets an approval

A propane autogas fuel tank was approved by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and will soon be available in the U.S.
Developed by Worthington Industries, the new doughnut-shaped, or “toroidal,” propane autogas fuel tank fits in the spare-tire space of a car or pickup truck, and will be available to order in mid-August.
BP releases results for finances in 2Q
LONDON
BP announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2014.
Underlying replacement cost profit for the quarter was $3.6 billion — 34 percent higher than the $2.7 billion reported for the same period in 2013 and 13 percent higher than the $3.2 billion result for the first quarter of 2014.
The company also announced a quarterly dividend of 9.75 cents per ordinary share, the same level as the previous quarter but 8.3 percent higher than a year earlier.
