ODOT announces Mahoning County projects

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new road projects in Mahoning County.
State Route 45 at Middletown Road in Goshen Township is open.
State Route 46 between Calla Road and Western Reserve Road in Green Township is closed through mid-August for a culvert replacement. The detour is state Route 11 to U.S. Route 224. The work is part of a $1 million project to replace culverts throughout the county. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October.
State Route 164 just south of Western Reserve Road in Beaver Township is now open.
Route 224 just west of state Route 45 in Ellsworth Township will be closed through 6 a.m. Monday for a culvert replacement. The detour is state Route 534 to state Route 14 to state Route 165.
State Route 289 between Palmer Avenue and the eastern corporation limit in Campbell is reduced to one lane of traffic maintained by a traffic signal for utility work. The work is part of a $1.8 million project to make drainage repairs and to resurface state Route 289. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October.
Beginning Monday, Robinson Avenue at state Route 289 in Campbell will be closed through Aug. 18 for storm-sewer repairs. A detour will be posted.
Beginning Friday, the ramp from state Route 711 southbound to Interstate 680 southbound will be closed for paving. It will be closed through 7 p.m. next Saturday. The detour will be Interstate 680 northbound to Meridian Road to Interstate 680 southbound.
Beginning Aug. 11, state Route 534 one mile south of Route 224 will be closed for a culvert replacement. The closure will continue through Aug. 15. The detour will be Route 224 to Route 45 to state Route 165.
