Beatitude House seeks back-to-school supplies

Beatitude House, which serves homeless and disadvantaged children, is in need of community contributions of back-to-school supplies.
The organization needs school uniforms; red or white polo shirts; navy, khaki or black pants; red, navy, black or white cardigan sweaters with no logos or brand names on the outside; socks and underwear. Sizes from preschool to adult are needed.
The children also require classroom supplies such as folders, three-ring binders, flash drives, notecards, book covers, assignment books, calculators, scissors, highlighters, rulers, pencil boxes, tissues, hand sanitizer, paper towels, sandwich-size and large, plastic zip-top bag and sanitizing wipes.
To donate, bring items to the Beatitude House administrative offices, 238 Tod Lane, on the campus of St. Edward Parish on the city’s North Side. They will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
